AI Engineer & Data Science Specialist (m/f/d)
As an AI Engineer & Data Science Specialist, you will drive the development and integration of AI-powered applications using foundation models and modern AI techniques. Your focus will be on building scalable, production-ready AI solutions that enhance automation, decision-making, and data-driven services.
Your responsibilities include:
- Designing and integrating AI-driven microservices and automation solutions.
- Working with foundation models (e.g., GPT, Llama, Claude) and optimizing them for specific business applications.
- Deploying and monitoring AI models in production environments.
- Developing and maintaining RESTful APIs for AI-based applications.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to create scalable and robust AI systems.
Your profile:
- two to three years of practical experience in AI engineering, including RAG and fine-tuning foundation models.
- Proficiency in Python or R, with a focus on machine learning and AI applications.
- Hands-on expertise in NLP, anomaly detection, classification, or time series analysis.
- Software engineering skills, including clean code, version control, and CI/CD.
- Familiarity with cloud-based AI solutions (e.g., Azure OpenAI, AWS Bedrock, Hugging Face).
- Fluency in English (German is a plus).
Nice to Have:
- Knowledge of MLOps, model deployment, or vector databases for AI applications.
- Experience in DevOps practices for AI systems.
- Background in accounting or controlling, particularly in data-driven decision-making.
