Ebner Stolz advices GOD group on the acquisition of EPCon IT-Consulting GmbH

Stutt­gart, Ger­many, Oc­to­ber 10, 2022 - The au­diting- and con­sul­ting firm Eb­ner Stolz has ad­vi­sed GOD group (GOD.dev) on the ac­qui­si­tion of EP­Con IT-Con­sul­ting GmbH (EP­Con) with a Fi­nan­cial and Tax due di­li­gence.

Foun­ded in 1985, GOD.dev is a full-ser­vice IT pro­vi­der and has been de­ve­lo­ping and ope­ra­ting cu­st­omi­sed en­ter­prise IT and soft­ware so­lu­ti­ons. The com­pany is head­quar­te­red in Braun­schweig, Ger­many and ope­ra­tes in ad­di­tio­nal lo­ca­ti­ons in Ger­many, Li­thua­nia, Po­land, and In­dia. As a full-ser­vice IT pro­vi­der, the com­pany ca­ters to all pha­ses of the soft­ware lifecy­cle be­gin­ning from the de­ve­lop­ment of ap­pli­ca­ti­ons to plan­ning and im­ple­men­ta­tion as well as sup­port across all ser­vice le­vels. Ap­pro­xi­mately 500 em­ployees ser­vice and sup­port large as well as me­dium si­zed en­ter­pri­ses.

EP­Con was foun­ded in 2016 and is an IT con­sul­ting and pro­fes­sio­nal ser­vice pro­vi­der for tech­ni­cal re­cruit­ment, soft­ware de­ve­lop­ment and ma­na­ged ser­vices. The com­pany is head­quar­te­red in Min­den and ope­ra­tes an ad­di­tio­nal lo­ca­tion in Braun­schweig, Ger­many. EP­Con ope­ra­tes in four broad seg­ments na­mely test and qua­lity ma­nage­ment, tech­no­logy con­sul­ting, ar­chi­tec­ture con­sul­ting, pro­ject ma­nage­ment and pro­ject sup­port.

In coope­ra­tion with Wa­ter­land Pri­vate Equity, the IT ser­vice pro­vi­der GOD.dev has ta­ken a step for­ward in its cor­po­rate growth with the ac­qui­si­tion of EP­Con while also ad­ding ano­ther mem­ber from the IT sec­tor to its port­fo­lio. With the ac­qui­si­tion, GOD.dev will have a strong part­ner to in­crease its cu­st­omer base as well as dri­ving fur­ther its growth stra­tegy to suc­cess­fully serve the in­cre­asing IT de­mand in the fu­ture. The ser­vices with the new part­ner also in­clude mo­dern cloud and edge com­pu­ting ser­vices as well as SAP con­sul­ting.

Eb­ner Stolz pro­vi­ded com­pre­hen­sive sup­port to the buy side for the ac­qui­si­tion in the con­text of a Fi­nan­cial and Tax Due Di­li­gence.
