Ebner Stolz advises Materialise on the acquisition of ACTech

Mu­nich, Oc­to­ber 6th, 2017 – The Bel­gian Ma­te­ria­lise-Group, which is lis­ted at the NAS­DAQ, si­gned the agree­ment for ac­qui­ring the AC­Tech-Group on Oc­to­ber 4th, 2017. Eb­ner Stolz pro­vi­ded fi­nan­cial and tax due di­li­gence sup­port, SPA ad­vice as well as tax struc­tu­ring.
 
The ac­qui­si­tion of AC­Tech enab­les Ma­te­ria­lise to broa­den its ser­vice range wi­thin the mar­ket for the pro­duc­tion and de­li­very of com­plex 3D-prin­ted me­tal parts.
Fur­ther­more, by joi­ning forces Ma­te­ria­lise will be able to si­gni­fi­cantly im­prove its soft­ware suite for me­tal 3D prin­ting.
 
Wil­fried Van­craen, foun­der and CEO of Ma­te­ria­lise ex­plai­ned that the ac­qui­si­tion of AC­Tech and its tech­no­lo­gi­cal in­te­gra­tion in Ma­te­ria­lise will ex­pand 3D prin­ting tech­no­logy th­roug­hout the whole me­tal working in­dus­try.

„AC­Tech knows me­tal and how to shape it to pro­duc­tion stan­dard, and we know Me­tal 3D Prin­ting. Brin­ging those two com­pe­ten­cies to­ge­ther is vi­tal to the de­li­very of high-ad­ded va­lue me­tal 3D-prin­ted parts for spe­cia­li­zed ap­pli­ca­ti­ons“, said Mr. Van­craen.
