Frank­furt, 12^th July 2018 – The Ac­coun­ting and Con­sul­ting firm Eb­ner Stolz ad­vi­ses the Frank­furt-ba­sed pri­vate equity com­pany PRE­MIUM EQUITY PART­NERS on the ac­qui­si­tion of CLA­RUS Films Group, by pro­vi­ding fi­nan­cial and tax due di­li­gence as well as tax struc­tu­ring and SPA sup­port. The pre­vious ma­nage­ment team will re­main with CLA­RUS Films Group.

PRE­MIUM EQUITY PART­NERS, foun­ded in 2011, is a pri­vate equity com­pany fo­cu­sed on strong ni­che com­pa­nies in the DACH-re­gion with re­ve­nues bet­ween EUR 10 mil­lion and EUR 50 mil­lion. PRE­MIUM is in­ves­ting ca­pi­tal wi­thin the scope of growth fi­nan­cing, suc­ces­sion so­lu­ti­ons and spin-offs. In every share­hol­ding, PRE­MIUM is com­bi­ning its long-stan­ding tran­sac­tion and fi­nan­cing ex­per­tise with the know-how of its in­dus­trial part­ners.

CLA­RUS Films Group, head­quar­te­red in Diet­zen­bach, Hes­sen, is a me­dium-si­zed com­pany with more than 30 years of ex­per­tise in the sec­tor of trans­pa­rent packing films and has, with an­nual re­ve­nues of c. EUR 60 mil­lion, a lea­ding po­si­tion in Eu­rope’s trans­pa­rent packing films in­dus­try. The fu­ture stra­tegy of CLA­RUS Films com­pro­mi­ses in par­ti­cu­lar the short-term im­ple­men­ta­tion of add-on ac­qui­si­ti­ons to ex­pand the mar­ket lea­dership in Eu­rope and to enhance cu­st­omer pro­xi­mity as well as ser­vice qua­lity out­side of the DACH-re­gion.
