Stuttgart, Germany, December 23, 2021 - Auditing and consulting firm Ebner Stolz provided comprehensive Financial Due Diligence support to Skaylink on the acquisition of cVation A/S (“cVation”).
cVation was founded in 2014 and is now regarded as one of Denmark's leading born-in-the-cloud service provider. With SimCorp, Jabra and Maersk, cVation can count well-known companies among its customers. The company supports its customers in integrating cloud-based solutions and through CADD, they offer a cloud platform for accelerated implementation.
Skaylink, a portfolio company of Waterland Private Equity, has become an established cloud service provider in Europe since its founding in 2019. The Munich-based company currently employs more than 600 cloud enthusiasts and has already expanded this year by acquiring AWS specialist root360 as well as Lithuanian multi-cloud-provider BTT Cloud.
The incorporation of cVation offers Skaylink the opportunity to develop markets in further Nordic countries and to expand the position as Azure-specialist. In addition, customers in other countries can expect to benefit from synergy effects of the acquisition as well as the expanded expertise in managed cloud services.
