Ebner Stolz supports Skaylink GmbH with the transaction of acquiring cVation A/S

Stutt­gart, Ger­many, De­cem­ber 23, 2021 - Au­diting and con­sul­ting firm Eb­ner Stolz pro­vi­ded com­pre­hen­sive Fi­nan­cial Due Di­li­gence sup­port to Skay­link on the ac­qui­si­tion of cVa­tion A/S (“cVa­tion”).

cVa­tion was foun­ded in 2014 and is now re­gar­ded as one of Den­mark's lea­ding born-in-the-cloud ser­vice pro­vi­der. With Sim­Corp, Jabra and Ma­ersk, cVa­tion can count well-known com­pa­nies among its cu­st­omers. The com­pany sup­ports its cu­st­omers in in­te­gra­ting cloud-ba­sed so­lu­ti­ons and th­rough CADD, they of­fer a cloud plat­form for ac­ce­le­ra­ted im­ple­men­ta­tion.

Skay­link, a port­fo­lio com­pany of Wa­ter­land Pri­vate Equity, has be­come an es­ta­blis­hed cloud ser­vice pro­vi­der in Eu­rope since its foun­ding in 2019. The Mu­nich-ba­sed com­pany cur­rently em­ploys more than 600 cloud en­thu­si­asts and has al­re­ady ex­pan­ded this year by ac­qui­ring AWS spe­cia­list root360 as well as Li­thua­nian multi-cloud-pro­vi­der BTT Cloud.

The in­cor­po­ra­tion of cVa­tion of­fers Skay­link the op­por­tu­nity to de­ve­lop mar­kets in fur­ther Nor­dic coun­tries and to ex­pand the po­si­tion as Azure-spe­cia­list. In ad­di­tion, cu­st­omers in other coun­tries can ex­pect to be­ne­fit from syn­ergy ef­fects of the ac­qui­si­tion as well as the ex­pan­ded ex­per­tise in ma­na­ged cloud ser­vices.
