- RSM Ebner Stolz strengthens its digital service offering with the establishment of the new business unit
Stuttgart, 14 May 2024 - RSM Ebner Stolz is establishing a new business unit for Microsoft Business applications with Christian Winzeler. The focus will be on the two Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP solutions Finance & Supply Chain and Business Central as well as on the Microsoft Power Platform.
Christian Winzeler (41), a new partner and proven Microsoft Business Application expert, will join RSM Ebner Stolz on 1 June 2024 to set up the new unit. The computer science graduate most recently worked as a principal for RSM US, where he was responsible for working with clients in the food and beverage industry in his role as Microsoft Food & Beverage Industry Leader.
The cloud-based solutions that are part of Microsoft Dynamics 365 offer a broad portfolio of business applications for the intelligent support of various business processes and industries. The platform includes Business Central and Finance & Supply Chain, two State-of-the-Art ERP solutions for the middle market, as well as the Microsoft Power Platform, a low-code/no-code development environment that uses visual and graphical methods to create software. Its tools and applications can be used to automate business processes (Power Automate) and analyse data (Power BI), which are critical components for success for middle market companies today.
Microsoft Business solutions such as Microsoft Dynamics 365 and the Microsoft Power Platform are currently used by over 6,000 companies in Germany, but this only represents part of the available potential. The aim of RSM Ebner Stolz is to establish itself as a partner for Microsoft Business products and services in the German and European market in order to support RSM's clients on their digital transformation journey.
Dr. Christoph Eppinger, partner at RSM Ebner Stolz, says: ‘The Microsoft Business applications have great potential for expanding our digital service offering. In conjunction with the high degree of internationalisation of middle market companies, Microsoft Dynamics 365 and the Microsoft Power Platform also offer further points of contact for global cooperation within the RSM network, especially with the view of the important position that the RSM Microsoft practice already has in the USA.’
‘As a native of Switzerland, I am looking forward to returning to Europe in my new role at RSM Ebner Stolz. With our existing experience, professional expertise and extensive network, we are in a unique position to provide our clients in Germany and Europe with a comprehensive range of digital products and services to accompany them on their digitalisation journey,’ says Christian Winzeler, describing the future goals and challenges.
