Peer Review
Quality has to be up to snuff – and that goes for an auditor’s services too. That’s why accountants and auditors, together with their companies, must undergo external quality control, also known as “peer review.”
Accountants, auditors and their companies are allowed to perform legally mandated audits of financial statements only if they regularly undergo this quality control themselves and can present certification of their participation no later than the time when they accept an audit engagement. The Chamber of Accountants and Auditors (Wirtschaftsprüferkammer) can allow exceptions only in special cases.
We are registered as a quality control auditor with the Berlin Chamber of Accountants and Auditors, and can perform a peer review of your practice. Whether your operation is big or small, our expertise and our understanding of economic sectors enable us to cover the full range of companies and perform external quality control with the skills you need. Besides our specialized knowledge, you can also count on our friendly, professional cooperation, adherence to deadlines, and of course, confidentiality. Peer review is performed by experienced colleagues and practitioners in quality assurance for accounting and auditing. In special cases, such as audits of clients in specialized fields, we bring in experts with specialized abilities.
